Day of Departure 

Cut your nails, trim the moustache, remove armpit and pubic hairs, take a bath (Ghusl) and wear the Ihraam garments. Males may use perfume before donning the Ihraam garments. 

The Airline Captain will inform you when you reach the Meeqaat. Having the intention in your heart pronounce the Talbeeyah of intention as follows: 

لَـبَّـيْكَ ٱللّـهُـمَّ بِعُمْرَة 

LabbaikAllaahumma bi Umrah 

(O Allah! Here I am responding to You in performing the Umrah.) [Saheeh Muslim Vol.2 p.612, no.2803] 

When making the Talbeeyah of intention a pilgrim may also state a condition as taught by the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم:

 اللَّـهُـمَّ مَحِـلِّـي حَـيْثُ حَـبَـسْتَـنِـي 

Allaahumma mahillee haithu habastanee 

(O Allah the place where I take off my Ihraam, is where You restrain me.) The one who does this and is prevented from completing the Umrah- there is no compensatory sacrifice due from him. [Saheeh Muslim, Vol.2, p.597, no.2756]
